This Privacy Policy explains how RGV Mobile X-Rays (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information in our employee text messaging program: work texts sent from +1 844-433-1572 to our own employees on their company-issued mobile phones. It does not cover patients; our patient text messaging is covered by our separate Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
- The employee’s name and the mobile number of their company-issued phone.
- The signed Employee Text Message Consent form (the employee’s written opt-in) and its date.
- Opt-out (STOP) and HELP requests, and the date we received them.
- A record of the texts we send and receive on this number: date, time, content and delivery status.
How we use it
Only to run this program: to send employees their work assignments (new and changed visits) and operational alerts, to answer HELP requests, to honor STOP requests, and to keep the business records we are required to keep. We do not use it for marketing of any kind.
Assignment texts can include the patient’s name, the exam and the service address so the technologist can do the visit. They go only to the employee assigned to that visit. Patient information is protected under HIPAA, and we send it by text only through a messaging provider that has signed a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with us.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent any of this information.
The only outside party that handles these messages is our SMS provider, solely to deliver them, and we disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
Signed consent forms are kept in the employee’s personnel file while they work for us and afterward as the law requires. Message records are kept as part of our business records. Access is limited to the staff who run dispatch and the office managers.
Your choices
Reply STOP at any time to stop these texts, or HELP for help, or call 956-783-9779. A written or verbal request to the office also removes the number immediately. If you opt out, you receive your assignments another way. Message frequency varies, usually about 5–15 messages per workday. Message and data rates may apply.
